On a rainy winter day, we gathered at the top of the hill on the island of Kinali, at the Monastery of the Transfiguration of Christ, to cut the Vasilopita of the Pedopolis Camp. The lucky one of the year was the Mayor, who, cheered on by everyone, broke the pomegranate in the courtyard, a gift from the Bishop.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our tireless Bishop, His Eminence Metropolit of Derkon, Apostolos , the esteemed Mayor, Mr. Ercan Akpolat , and his entourage, the Honorable Archon Ieromnimon, Mr. Antonios Chatzopoulos , our friends and the children of the Camp, Grigoris Kyriakidis for the delicious treats he prepared, and all those who love us and were with us in spirit.
A special thanks also goes to the Police for their assistance and support.
