Revival with New Breath and Vitality

The Patriarchal Camp of Pedopolis is a valuable space for hospitality and character development, where our children experience unique and unforgettable moments. The renovation of its facilities has been a significant project, realized through the continuous efforts and vision of the Camp Leader, Diamantis Kombopoulos.

In 2018, following the assignment by His All-Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, Mr. Kombopoulos assumed the Directorship of the Patriarchal Camp of Pedopolis. He continues to fulfill this role with dedication and unwavering care, always carrying the blessings of His All-Holiness. His contribution was officially recognized in 2021, when His All-Holiness honored him with the title of Archon Primikirios of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, a distinction that reflects the magnitude of his service and devotion.

From the very beginning of his tenure, he prioritized the promotion of the institution, both domestically and internationally, with the aim of strengthening its mission. With perseverance and dedication, he worked tirelessly under the guidance of the President of the Coordinating Council, His Eminence Metropolitan of Derkon, Apostolos, to improve the Camp’s infrastructure. .

With the invaluable support of the Mother Church, Community and Charitable Foundations, as well as the contributions of philanthropic individuals, he managed to transform the worn-out facilities, offering children an even safer and more welcoming environment.

The work of Diamantis Kombopoulos stands as living proof of the power of love, selfless service, and faith in the mission of the Church. The Patriarchal Camp of Pedopolis continues to serve as a beacon of pedagogical and spiritual development, thanks to the tireless efforts of its Leader and his team.

We express our gratitude for his outstanding contribution and wish him health, strength, and every blessing in his God-pleasing work. May his service continue to bear fruit and inspire future generations.
