
On September 4, 2000 he was ranked among the active Hierarchs of the Throne under the title of Moschonesia. During his Archpriestly career, he served as Abbot, from 1995 to 2011, of the Holy Patriarchal and Crusader Monastery of the Holy Trinity of Halki, in charge of the Monastery of the Transfiguration of Christ the Saviour from 2002 to 2011, and of the Holy Patriarchal Skete of St. Spyridon from 2001 to 2011. At the urging of the Most Reverend Primate of the Church of Constantinople, he represented the Mother Church at the 44th Clerical Assembly of the Holy Archdiocese of America, held in Boston in July 2018.
From time to time he serves as Patriarchal Commissioner and is President of various Synodal Committees. Metropolitan Apostolos is celebrated every year on June 30, the feast of the Holy Apostles.
His Eminence Metropolitan of Derkon Apostolos , supreme and exarch of Bosporus, Thrace and Cyanea, was born in the region of Galata, Istanbul in 1952.
He received his first letters at the Urban School in Galata and his secondary education at the Zografyon Gymnasium. He completed his high school studies at the Theological School of Halki. He then went to Thessaloniki, as a scholar of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, to receive his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Pastoral Department of the Theological Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He was ordained deacon during his studies in December 1973 by his spiritual Father the late Metropolitan Gabriel of Koloneia, while in 1976 he was appointed Patriarchal Deacon and Secretary at the First Patriarchal Office. He is fluent in Turkish, English and Italian.
In 1984 and 1987, respectively, at the proposal of Patriarch Demetrios, he was promoted to the positions of Codicil and Sub-Secretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod. On November 14, 1995 he was unanimously elected Titular Bishop of Agathonikea and was ordained on the 26th of the same month in the Fifth Patriarchal Church of St. George.

Andonis Filippidis is a dynamic professional with deep experience in the strategic development and implementation of major healthcare projects, but also a man with strong social action and dedication to culture. As Head of Strategy at ERC GRUP Mühendislik Danışmanlık ve Ar-Ge Hizmetleri A.Ş., he has been instrumental in the design and implementation of national healthcare systems and technology solutions for countries ranging from Turkey and Palestine to the Balkans.
With a degree in Economics and Computer Science from the Technical University of Karlsruhe, he has held senior management positions in the technology sector, focusing his work on improving healthcare services through innovative IT solutions. At the same time, he is an active member of international health informatics organisations, promoting expertise and collaboration at an international level.
Apart from his professional career, Mr. Filippidis has a deep social contribution, especially to the greek diaspora. Born and raised in Germany, he served as president of the Greek Community Youth, supporting its activities and strengthening the links of young people with the Greek tradition. With a love for music and traditional dance, he has contributed as a dancer and choreographer both in Germany and in Istanbul, passing on the Greek cultural heritage to younger generations.
With faith in the values of his cultural heritage and solidarity, Mr.Filippidis remains active in initiatives that support the Greek community, either through his professional activities or through his cultural and social contribution.

He worked systematically and unceasingly, under the guidance of the President of the Coordinating Council, Metropolitan of Derkon Apostolos, for the improvement of the overworked facilities, with the assistance of the Mother Church, the Community and Charitable Foundations, as well as philanthropic individuals.
In the pedagogical field, its aim is to pass on traditional and religious values, to cultivate love and appreciation for fellow human beings and the natural environment, as well as to develop dialogue with brothers and sisters from abroad. For this purpose, from the very first year, a programme of hospitality and exchange of campers has been launched.
Diamantis Komvopoulos was born in Istanbul on 29 June 1972. He graduated from the Zografyon Gymnasium and then studied at the School of Philosophy of Crete, graduating from the Department of History and Archaeology. He worked as a secretary in the Patriarchal Library, in the private sector, and for many years as a tour guide, holding both licenses in Greece and Turkey. Since 2013 she has been teaching as a philologist at the Zografyon Gymnasium.
In the year 2018, following an assignment from His Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, he assumed the direction of the Patriarchal Camp of Pedopolis, which he continues to direct with His blessings. In the year 2021, His Holiness, recognizing his services, honored him with the officiate of the Archprimikirion of the MCC.
From the very first moment of undertaking this charitable work, he attached great importance to the promotion of the Foundation, both at home and abroad.

Zoi Touratsoglou was born on June 25, 1980, in the City (Istanbul). She received her primary education at the Tatavla Primary School and completed her secondary education at the Fener Rum Gymnasium.
She worked as a secretary at the Fener Rum Gymnasium, Zapyon, and the orthopedic products company KYFIDIS, handling product digitization, photography, and the preparation of promotional materials. Since 2016, she has been working as a secretary at the Zografyon Gymnasium.
She enjoys working with new technologies and computers, dancing, singing and hiking. She has a lovely daughter who studies at the Zografyon Gymnasium.
It is the cornerstone of the Camp.

Johnny (Johnny) Kourtesoglou was born in Istanbul in 1981. He graduated from Zografyon Gymnasium and is the President of the Association of Zografyon Gymnasium Alumni.
He works as a qualified tour guide and is the founder of Xenagos Konstantinoupoli Travel and Vasil Bey Coffee & Sweets.
He is married and has twin children, Polly and Artemis. He has always been on the side of the Camp and is now an active member.

Konstantinos Pouskiouloglou was bornin 1979 in Istanbul. After graduating from Zografyon Gymnasium, he studied business administration at Marmara University, where he completed his master’s degree.
Since 2001 he has been a qualified tour guide and owns a company that produces church and gift items. He is married and a father to two lovely daughters.
