At a splendid event held on Friday, February 21, 2025, in Chrysovergia, the Pedopolis Association, in collaboration with the Alumni Association of Zografyon Lyceum, honored the great singer Dimitris Mitropanos.
Like one of those sounds that never fade away, the voice of Dimitris Mitropanos has remained indelible—even 13 years after his passing—and echoes all the way to the heart of Istanbul. Although unknown to many, his voice, filled with emotion and passion, became an invisible bridge between two peoples who share more than they dare to admit.
