Pedopolis, which operates under the auspices of the Holy Patriarchal and Stavropegic Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Savior Christ on the Island of Kinali, is a space for education, recreation, and summer activities for children aged 7 to 15 from Orthodox communities of the Greek Minority.

Its operation is governed by strict regulations, which have been approved by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and studied by the Grand Protosyncellus.

It includes the principles of operation of Pedopolis, the conditions for participation, daily activities, as well as the responsibilities of the staff and campers.The Regulation of Operation of the Patriarchal Camp Pedopolisserves as the primary guide for the smooth and safe functioning of the camp, ensuring an environment that promotes the education, recreation, and socialization of children from Orthodox communities. It includes the principles of operation of Pedopolis, the conditions for participation, daily activities, as well as the responsibilities of the staff and campers.

Additionally, the administrative structures and bodies that ensure the proper functioning of the Institution are presented. Pedopolis is managed by the Coordinating Council, which is composed of high-ranking officials, such as Metropolitans, the Grand Protosyncellus, the Camp Director, and representatives of the Pedopolis Association.

The Coordinating Council is responsible for decision-making, financial management, and supervision of the staff.

The Camp Director is responsible for the smooth operation of Pedopolis. He must possess pedagogical and administrative training, as well as high moral standards. His role includes supervising the staff, implementing the program, adhering to the regulations, and ensuring the safety of the children.

Furthermore, the Director coordinates activities, oversees the nutrition and living conditions of the campers, and submits reports to the Coordinating Council and the Ecumenical Patriarch. He is the main person responsible for fulfilling the camp’s purpose, namely the spiritual, physical, and social development of the children.

Additionally, the President of the Pedopolis Association serves as the Curator, overseeing the general operation of the Institution. He is are responsible for the overall functioning, resource management, and maintaining the institutional and cultural role of Pedopolis as an important center for Culture and Heritage.
